Horror fans, get ready, the Bloody Hell movie prepared its launch with a fresh poster and a new trailer, setting the stage for its much-anticipated wider release! First screened in 2020’s virtual festival circuit, the film finally lands on screens for general audiences. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on October 28th that Bloody Hell secured its distribution deal with Entertainment Squad’s genre label, The Horror Collective. And that means one thing. If you missed it during its theater run, don’t worry. You’ll soon get your chance to watch it in all its bloody, chaotic glory.

What’s Bloody Hell All About?

If Rex thought life was tough before, escaping one nightmare only to land in another proves that luck is not on his side. Starring Ben O’Toole (Nekrotronic, Hacksaw Ridge), the film delivers a unique blend of horror and dark comedy. The story follows Rex, an Idaho native, who flees to Helsinki in an attempt to leave behind his troubled past, only to find himself in a far worse situation.

Described as Die Hard meets horror, the film’s action-packed intensity is reminiscent of John McClane’s chaotic energy, only with more blood, screams, and sheer terror. Directed by Alister Grierson (Kokoda) and written by Robert Benjamin in his feature-length debut, Bloody Hell doesn’t hold back on the madness.

The Cast and Crew of the Bloody Hell Movie

Alongside O’Toole, the film boasts a stellar cast, including Caroline Craig, Matthew Sunderland, Travis Jeffery, and Jack Finsterer. Newcomers Meg Fraser and David Hill round out the lineup, portraying members of a sinister Finnish family.

When and Where to Watch Bloody Hell

After making waves at the Fantasy Film Festival and Nightstream Film Festival in 2020, Bloody Hell premiered in Australia on October 8th, 2020.
