The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival (BHFF) proudly announced its full program for the 2024 event, taking place from October 17-22. Every screening unfolded at Nitehawk Cinema\u2019s vibrant Williamsburg and Prospect Park locations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

BHFF rolled out an impressive lineup of films and events, highlighted by a special screening of Larry Fessenden\u2019s acclaimed “Habit.” Furthermore, the Leviathan Award Ceremony celebrated the illustrious career of this remarkable filmmaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening Night Films – Brooklyn Horror 2024<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The festival launched with a lineup fit for any cinema conossoir beginning with the highly anticipated NY premiere of “Dead Mail.” Created by the brilliant duo, Joe DeBoer and Kyle McConaghy. These filmmakers challenge perceptions. If you relish the idea of having your mind twisted and turned like Sunday morning eggs, this film is definitely for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exorcismo<\/strong>: This North American premiere stood out as a remarkable highlight, complemented by retro screenings of “Vampyres” and “The Blood Spattered Bride” in stunning 35mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Custom<\/strong>: Directed by Tiago Teixeira, this gripping body horror flick left no viewer untouched. “Custom” is a masterclass in tech-sploitation, compelling audiences to reconsider their next clandestine viewing choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
