Sleepless Beauty is the newest horror movie by director Pavel Khvaleev. It’s on VOD + Digital platforms from November 10, 2020. The psychological experiment-induced narrative can be watched on Blu-ray from, November 17, 2020. The story follows Mila (Polina Davydova.) Unaware of the surveillance that’s been tailing her, she finds herself kidnapped. Straightaway, Mila needs to figure out who or what her particularly intrusive abductors want. Voices speak to her through loudspeakers and, they bark rules. She must earn sleep by completing activities that become more violent and surreal as time blends into nothingness.

Sleep Experiments and Torture

Sleepless Beauty is a Russian-language horror movie. The original title is Ya ne splyu. Who doesn’t love a storyline with sleep experiments and torture right? Sure, they can be hit and miss but Mother of Movies is still excited.

Reviews from the film’s festival tour are mostly positive. More to the point, many are talking about just how raw the torture in the movie is. Subsequently, lovers of films that feature sleep experiments and torture, should get what they came for. What’s more, this horror movie’s softer side and a less is more approach will allow a wider audience to enjoy it.
