Fantasia Film Festival

All things Fantasia. I’ve been covering Fantasia Film Festival since 2018, straight from Montreal to my merch shelf. Fantasia Film Festival has been electrifying Montreal each July/August since 1996 with fantasy, horror, sci-fi, and cult cinema. Its 2008 edition featured world premieres of Pig Hunt and Repo! The Genetic Opera. In 2012, it added the Frontières industry market to connect indie auteurs with producers. Fantasia’s flagship Cheval Noir competition, master-classes, VR shorts, and an open-to-all screening ethos draw over 100,000 fans annually, making it North America’s top genre showcase.
