Grimmfest (originally Grimm Up North) started in 2009 and each October transforms Manchester’s Odeon Great Northern, Vue Printworks and Dancehouse into hubs for horror, sci-fi and fantasy cinema. It’s known for world premieres such as Shudder’s Black Cab, filmmaker Q&As, guest-speaker panels, awards across categories from Best Feature to Best Scare, and has been named one of MovieMaker’s and Dread Central’s top genre festivals worldwide.
