Alexander Skarsgård stars in Infinity Pool

Neon and Topic Studios finally announced some movement for a science fiction and thriller movie. Infinity Pool is now underway. Principal photography begins on September 6th, 2021. The film, starring Alexander Skarsgård is also set to executive produce. This is the latest collaboration between Neon and Brandon Cronenberg after the renowned Possessor movie in 2020.

So far information on the plot for Infinity Pool is scant but Mother of Movies can confirm the following:

“James and Em are young, rich, in love, and on vacation. Their all-inclusive resort boasts island tours and gleaming beaches. But outside of the hotel gates waits for something much more dangerous and seductive, beyond the edge of paradise.”

Infinity Pool Storyline

The island, La Tolqa, is a made-up location said to be wrought with a hedonistic tourism subculture full of violence and horror. Infinity Pool is written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg. If we can gauge its success by any of his previous films like Possessor or Anti Viral this too will be a cracker of a film.

NEON will co-finance and executive produce the sci-fi thriller alongside Topic Studios.
