“Terrifier 2” movie has caused quite a stir. Very much like other controversial flicks in the past. With reports of viewers fainting, puking, and feeling utterly disturbed, it seems that this film has pushed boundaries to the extreme. Die-hard fans of the original Art the Clown movie and avid followers eagerly anticipated its release, craving a dose of fear that would leave them trembling in their seats.
Let’s face it, horror movies are all about pushing the limits. They thrive on violence, gore, and blood-soaked scenes that test the audience’s resilience. There’s a certain delight in witnessing an epic kill scene that leaves you gasping in awe, wondering just how twisted the minds behind the film must be. Damien Leone, the mastermind behind Terrifier 2, has definitely delivered on the promises of mind-bending executions. The Terrifier movies are built to shock, and the lines between reality and nightmare blur.

Well, brace yourself for an absolute bloodbath! The title made its way to theatres in most countries just in time for Halloween in 2022. Let’s hope the third installment “Terrifier 3” is planned the same way. These extreme horror movies always leave your senses feeling assaulted with an unapologetic concoction of gore, guts, and all things visceral.
Picture this: Terrifier 2 wastes no time in hurling you headfirst into a relentless onslaught of horror. From the chilling opening scenes to the climax. Terrifer 2 is again a rollercoaster ride of thrills and spills. A worthy companion for the first installment.
The diabolical clown known as “Art the Clown” is back at his sadistic maniac best. He unleashes an unholy torrent of terror that will etch nightmares into your nightmares. As he defies death itself and wreaks havoc with glee, you can’t help but wonder if he is the twisted lovechild of every horror icon that has ever graced the screen. Art is a breed of horror that is both uniquely captivating and utterly disturbing.
In the progression of the film, I observed the unmistakable essence of Art the Clown as a villain, drawing comparisons to other iconic characters. Particularly, Art’s incursion into Sienna’s dreams brought forth echoes of Freddy Krueger. Yet, Art radiates an exponentially greater intensity and charisma, perhaps not outshining the formidable Michael Myers (may he rest in peace), but he does a good job.

What sets both the original Terrifier film and its sequel apart is the invigorating portrayal of Art’s distinct personality, thus distinguishing him from other menacing horror figures. While it is crucial to acknowledge that certain moments might be perceived as provocative, such as Art’s morbid laughter while perusing a newspaper reporting a tragic family car accident, it is precisely these subtleties that contribute to the character’s unnerving impact.
Overall, Terrifier 2 was fun, bloody, and like its predecessor had a great story. With the introduction of Art the Clown’s playmate it’s hard to tell whether he will return for more or not. Whatever the case, the film is leaving a mark.

Funnily enough, the whole concept of “Art the Clown” and Terrifier 2 was enough for one mom to start up a petition on Change.org. The owner of Moms Against Terrifier 2 pleaded to stop the senseless violence in films and save our innocent children from sneaking in to watch this “filth.” However, blaming music, art, video games or movies is ridiculous. What’s more other issues should change first before trying for censorship.
Surprisingly the petition ended up turning into an endorsement and fan board of sorts for the Terrifier 2 movie. If you’re in the mood for a giggle, reading through the comments will show you what the fans think about banning a movie as good as this. I added a comment myself too.
